Congressman Keith Self to Host Congressional Veteran Commendation Ceremony for Local Heroes

Congressman Keith Self is hosting the Congressional Veteran Commendation Ceremony on Friday, November 10th, to recognize exceptional veterans in Texas’ Third Congressional District. The event will take place from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at the Plano Flags of Honor Field located at 2801 E. Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75074.

“During my 25 years of service in the U.S. Army, I had the privilege of serving alongside some of the finest men and women our nation has ever known,” said Congressman Keith Self. “Giving proper recognition to American heroes helps us understand the sacrifices that have been made to protect our God-given freedoms which are preserved in the Constitution.”

The Congressional Veteran Commendation is a nationwide program designed to recognize both the military and community service of Veterans. These honorees are outstanding Americans who served our country as former members of the United States Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Space Force and Coast Guard).
