The Sharia-Free America Caucus, co-chaired by U.S. Representatives Keith Self (TX-03) and Chip Roy (TX-21), took to the House floor for an entire hour to speak about the clear threat Sharia poses to our families, communities, and nation. 

Congressmen Self and Roy were joined during the Special Order Hour by U.S. Representatives Randy Weber, Mark Harris, Mary Miller, Russ Fulcher, Buddy Carter, Barry Moore, Sheri Biggs, Randy Fine, Eli Crane, and Scott Perry.

U.S. Representatives Keith Self (TX-03) and Chip Roy (TX-21) hosted the Sharia-Free America Caucus’ first-ever press conference with U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), Majority Whip Tom Emmer (MN-06), and 14 other members of the Caucus.

Congressman Keith Self (TX-03) has introduced the VA Bonus and Relocation Recovery Act, which would clarify that existing recoupment authorities at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) extend to former employees, closing a loophole that allows improper payments to go unrecovered solely because an employee has left the agency.

Since its inception on December 18^th, 2025, the Caucus has grown to twenty-six members from seventeen different states, highlighting the importance of this issue to the American people and those they select to represent them.

Congressman Keith Self, co-leading with Congresswoman Emily Randall, introduced the Federal Program Integrity and Fraud Prevention Act of 2025, legislation to stop individuals convicted of federal fraud and theft crimes tied to federal programs from continuing to access taxpayer-funded contracts, grants, loans, and other federal assistance.

Sharia is a dominating force that is not compatible with the U.S. Constitution. The formation of the Caucus has earned the support of U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville—the leading voice in the Senate against Sharia.

Congressman Keith Self has introduced the Veterans Affairs Advisory Committee Oversight Act of 2025. This legislation will modernize and consolidate advisory committees within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), as part of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs’ broader effort to reauthorize long-overdue VA programs for the first time in three decades. 

Congressman Keith Self (TX-03), Europe Subcommittee Chairman on the House Foreign Affairs Committee (HFAC), introduced a bill requiring the Department of State to report on Serbia’s treatment of ethnic minorities, particularly ethnic Albanians in the Preshevo Valley.
