Art Competition

Each spring, a nation-wide high school arts competition is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The Congressional Art Competition is an opportunity to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation, as well as in our Congressional District.
The competition is open to all high school students in our District. The winning artwork of our district's competition will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol. The exhibit in Washington will include the winning artwork from all participating districts from around the country. Additionally, the winner will be invited to the reception in Washington D.C., summer of 2026 (dates TBA). You can find more information and see past winners HERE.

Important Dates:
- Register for the TX District 3 competition via the google form by 3/15
- Artwork must be received in our McKinney office by 3/23
- Competition gallery opens for public viewing on 3/31 at Blue House Too in Watters Creek (970 Watters Creek Blvd., Allen, TX 75013)
- Reception and winner’s announcement 4/02 at Blue House Too
