Congressman Keith Self Opposes $1.2 Trillion Omnibus

Today, Congressman Keith Self and 111 House Republicans voted against another massive omnibus.

“Once again, the Establishment forced through a bloated, thousand-plus page funding bill filled with liberal poison pills and handouts for woke initiatives,” said Congressman Keith Self. “This $1,200,000,000 monstrosity not only continues Pelosi-level era spending, it also bankrolls funding for late-term surgical and chemical abortions, promotion of transgender surgeries, LGBT housing, and anti-gun ‘studies’ on firearms. In addition, this legislation does nothing to halt the flood of illegal immigrants crossing America’s borders.”

Changing the trajectory of Washington requires a return to the fundamental principle of fiscal responsibility and ending the chronic practice of governing by omnibus.
