Congressman Keith Self Votes Against NDAA Bill Funding Abortion-Travel and Reauthorizing Section 702 of FISA

Today, Congressman Keith Self voted against the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024.

“While I fully supported the House Republican’s NDAA bill passed in July, I could not in good conscience vote for the Senate negotiated NDAA as it allows American taxpayer dollars to be used for abortion-travel for servicemembers and extends Section 702 of FISA without reform,” said Congressman Keith Self. “I staunchly stand with our men and women in uniform and am deeply disappointed in the politicization of this essential legislation to fund our military.”
